Adult Summer Reading 2026

Get ready to unearth your next adventure this summer at the library!

Visit any Corpus Christi Public Library location to pick up your official Read-opoly board for a summer filled with reading and discovery. Complete challenges, explore new stories, and earn great prizes along the way.

The Read-opoly Summer Reading Challenge is for adults ages 18 and older. It runs from June 1, 2026, to August 16, 2026. Whether you’ve been reading forever or are just starting, there’s no better time to dive into a great book.

Your next story is waiting. Let’s discover it together at the library!

Rules:

• Neighborhood: Each represents the 6 branches of the Corpus Christi Public Libraries along with Local History and Reference. You must complete the neighborhood at the correct library to receive an instant prize. Local History and Reference prizes can be picked up at La Retama.
  
  
• 4 Corners: Attend 4 different 18+ programs at any library and be entered into the gift card drawing.
  
  
• Book Cart: Check out 5 Adult/YA books. All books count, including ebooks or eaudiobooks on cloudLibrary.
  
  
• Grand Prize Drawing: Must complete the entire board to enter the Grand prize drawing.
  
  
• Library Staff: Library staff are not eligible for prizes or drawings.
