Grants Available for Community Development, Affordable Housing, and Responding to Homelessness

Application for Federal Funding Accepted through June 3

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—The City of Corpus Christi has released three Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA) to address homelessness, housing and community development needs.

Organizations providing services to low—and moderate-income individuals are encouraged to apply. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) provides funds through the Community Development Block Grant, the HOME Investment Partnerships Program, and the Emergency Solutions Grant.

Organizations interested in creating and preserving affordable housing, improving public facilities, providing public services to low-income people, and responding to homelessness are encouraged to apply. A technical Assistance Workshop will be held on May 15 at City Hall in the Executive Conference Room, starting at 9:00 a.m.

Funding allocation amounts have not yet been announced by HUD, and the NOFAs will be updated when that information is received.
