City of Corpus Christi to Host Public Information Session on Evangeline Groundwater Program

Community Members Invited to Learn About Water Supply Projects and Share Feedback

Corpus Christi, TX – Corpus Christi Water (CCW) invites residents and community members to attend a public information session on the Evangeline Groundwater project. This open discussion will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about groundwater resources, meet with CCW staff, and share their input on this critical water supply initiative.

·         Location: Sinton Civic Center at the San Patricio County Fairgrounds, 219 W. 5th St., Sinton, TX

The information session will cover a range of topics essential to understanding the City’s Evangeline Groundwater Program, management efforts, and other water supply projects, specifically including:

·         The Evangeline Groundwater Project

·         The Gulf Coast Aquifer

·         What is a Groundwater Conservation District (GCD)

·         Residential well water quality data and water levels

·         Drought information

·         CCW water supply projects
