City Statement: Animal Care Services at Capacity, Fosters Available

To Our Community,

Corpus Christi’s Animal Care Services is at full capacity after experiencing more than double our normal intake of dogs over the last 48 hours.

CCACS is asking residents to consider temporarily fostering a dog for 2 to 14 days.

To support foster families, CCACS will provide everything the pet will need during their stay, including:
• Food
• Kennels
• Toys
• Collars and leashes

All foster dogs will already be spayed or neutered (sterilized), microchipped, and vaccinated prior to placement.

Anyone able to provide a safe, temporary home is asked to fill out our application (foster-application-form.pdf)

and send it to us at CCACSrescuefoster@cctexas.com or direct message us with your contact information.

If you are not ready to apply but would like us to contact you, please email CCACSrescuefoster@cctexas.com

CCACS staff will work directly with each foster volunteer to help match the right dog with the appropriate home environment.

Thank you for supporting the animals of Corpus Christi during this urgent time of need.
