The Corpus Christi Municipal Court is launching Warrant Resolution Month on September 1. Individuals can address traffic citations, code enforcement violations, Class C misdemeanor violations, and outstanding parking violations with active warrants.

El Tribunal Municipal de Corpus Christi inicia el Mes de Resolución de Órdenes de Arresto el 1 de septiembre. Las personas pueden resolver multas de tráfico, infracciones de normativas municipales, delitos menores de Clase C y multas de estacionamiento pendientes que tengan órdenes de arresto activas.

City Council approved the re-appointment of Jacqueline Del Llano Chapa as Presiding Judge for a two-year term beginning August 1. The council also approved appointing Carlos Omar Reyna as part-time judge for an unexpired term from June 24, 2025, through June 24, 2027.

In observance of the holiday season, all City of Corpus Christi non-essential offices will be closed during the week between Christmas and New Year's Day. Most offices will be closed beginning Thursday, December 25, 2025, and reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026.

At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, the Council approved awarding $4.85 million to South Texas Building Partners for the construction of a new detention center.

Outstanding parking violations are also now being addressed at Municipal Court.

The City of Corpus Christi will announce the kickoff of the 2025 Warrant Roundup. Beginning Saturday, March 1, Corpus Christi Police officers will actively seek those individuals with outstanding warrants.
