CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi and the Mayor’s Committee on Veteran Affairs will host the Gold Star Mothers and Family Day Ceremony on Saturday, September 26, at 9:00 a.m. at Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park, 222 South Shoreline Boulevard. The public is welcome to attend the ceremony.
Gold Star Mothers and Family Day honors the significant sacrifices made by families who have lost a loved one while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces. This meaningful occasion serves as a reminder to offer support, express gratitude, and commemorate the legacy of those who have served selflessly.
The ceremony includes the introduction of Gold Star families, a parade of colors, a keynote speaker, and the introduction of representatives of veterans’ organizations and dignitaries.
