Pipeline Work Planned for Rushing Boulevard near O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Beginning Wednesday, August 12, crews will implement temporary traffic restrictions on a section of Rushing Boulevard near the O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant to accommodate pipeline installation.

Traffic will be reduced to intermittent, one-way alternating lanes, with flaggers on-site to guide motorists through the construction zone. The work is part of a larger, ongoing improvement project at the water facility. Nearby residents and businesses have been notified, and access to all properties will be maintained throughout the project.

Safety remains a top priority, so motorists are advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays, remain aware of the work zone, and follow posted signs.

The City of Corpus Christi is committed to projects that maintain or improve streets and infrastructure for every city resident, business, and visitor.
