Roadwork on Aaron Drive Set to Begin

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—The Aaron Drive reconstruction project begins Monday, March 17. The Bond 2022 project will involve improvements to pavement, curbs and gutters, and streetlights, as well as the construction of new or improved sidewalks, ADA-compliant curb ramps, signage, and pavement markings. In addition to surface improvements, the $3.84 million project includes stormwater, water, wastewater, and gas infrastructure improvements.

Aaron Drive from Saratoga Boulevard to Summer Wind Drive will be limited to one-way northbound traffic through November. The project is scheduled for completion in March 2026.

A detailed map below visually represents the road work and traffic flow adjustments.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.

The City of Corpus Christi is committed to projects that maintain or improve streets and infrastructure for every city resident, business, and visitor.
