Temporary Intersection Closure at Timon Boulevard and Gulfspray Avenue Scheduled for North Beach Improvements
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — As part of the ongoing infrastructure and revitalization efforts in the North Beach area, a temporary road closure will affect local traffic starting next week.
Beginning Monday, August 10, the intersection of Timon Boulevard at Gulfspray Avenue will be fully closed to traffic. The closure is expected to last approximately two weeks, weather permitting.
This temporary closure is necessary to advance a comprehensive suite of neighborhood improvements, which include:
· The construction of a new drainage canal to improve regional stormwater management.

· The reconstruction of both Beach Avenue and Gulfspray Avenue.
Detours & Safety Drivers traveling through North Beach are advised to use alternate routes, follow all posted detour signage, and exercise caution when traveling near the construction zone.
