Residents are encouraged to continue taking precautions to reduce mosquito breeding around their homes by eliminating standing water and using insect repellent when outdoors.
The Vector Control Program at CCNCPHD will continue implementing its integrated mosquito management approach, which includes routine surveillance, larvicide treatments, public education, source reduction efforts, and targeted spraying when necessary. This comprehensive strategy is designed to reduce mosquito populations while minimizing environmental impacts and protecting public health.
