Whitecap Beach Ranked Among Best in Texas in USA TODAY Readers' Choice Awards

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Corpus Christi’s Whitecap Beach has been named one of the top beaches in Texas in the 2026 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards, earning statewide recognition through a nationwide public vote.

Here are the area beaches featured in the Best Beaches in Texas rankings:

Rockport Beach (Aransas County) – No. 2
Malaquite Beach (Padre Island National Seashore) — No. 3
Mustang Island State Park — No. 4
Whitecap Beach — No. 5
South Beach (Padre Island National Seashore) — No. 7
I.B. Magee Beach (Port Aransas) – No. 10

The USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards begin with nominations selected by a panel of travel experts and the publication’s editorial team. Final rankings are determined through public voting.
