Annexations
Annexation is the legal process that adds land to the corporate limits of a city. Annexation allows formerly unincorporated properties to receive City services.

The Planning & Economic Development Department is responsible for developing the City's Comprehensive Plan, Area Development Plans, Neighborhood Plans, and Master Plans. The Planning Department leads the City's annexation and de-annexation efforts.
