Pools
The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department maintains seven pools throughout the city. Two pools operate year-round, and five additional pools are open during the summer months. We offer general swim, lap swim, swim lessons, and swim leagues. Aquatics staff members encourage residents to build a lifelong passion for swimming. Temporary Pool Closures
The entire Corpus Christi Natatorium will be temporarily closed for swim events on the dates listed below. The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department invites you to use Collier Pool during these days.
- June 5, 6, 7, 12, 13, 14, 20, 21 (Swim events)
- July 11 (Swim event)
- August 3–14 (Swim events)
The Instructional Pool (only) is temporarily closed for repairs.

The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department is hosting tryouts and on-the-spot interview events starting in February. Candidates must be 16 or older. For more requirements and details, please review the flyer below.

Summer 2026 Pool Parties at Bill Witt Aquatic Center
We are excited to announce that we are now accepting Pool Party rentals for the Bill Witt Aquatic Center’s large leisure “play” pool during Summer 2026. The lap pool is not included. Enjoy the interactive play features, a beach-inspired entry, two large slides, and shaded seating. Make your next party one to remember! For more information, call 361-826-1720.
FEES:
$600 for 2 hours (for up to 50 guests)
$100 for 20 additional guests
$250 for one additional hour
Summer 2026 Pool Rentals at Bill Witt Aquatic Center
Attention Swim Team Coaches and Event Organizers:
We're thrilled to announce that the Bill Witt Aquatic Center's 10-lane, 25-meter heated competition pool is available for rentals in Summer 2026. This premier outdoor facility is perfect for swim team practices, meets, family reunions, church celebrations, or organization events. Please note that the leisure “play” pool is not available for rental. Reserve your preferred days and time slots now! For more information, call 361-826-1720.

Collier Pool

Collier Pool is our outdoor pool, which features the big bucket dunk! Enjoy the beach-inspired entry, experience the splash of the big bucket, fun water features, picnic tables, relax under the gulf streams, or jump into the deep end! The pool also includes six lanes and is heated during cold weather for year-round lap swimming.

Corpus Christi Natatorium

The Instructional Pool (only) is temporarily closed for repairs.
The Natatorium is our indoor Olympic-style pool facility designed to host competitive swim meets. The pool has many lanes for lap swimming, making it ideal for conditioning. It now has a large, tiled pool floor with lane stripes to guide the path for swimmers. Enjoy the warm activity pool or jump into the deep end from one of two 1-meter diving boards available! We invite you to come for a tour and book a fun party for your guests to have an extraordinary experience.

Bill Witt Aquatic Center

Bill Witt Aquatic Center is an outdoor facility featuring a 10-lane 25-meter heated competition pool for lap swimming and to host swim meets, a large leisure pool with interactive play elements and a beach-inspired entry, two large slides, shaded seating, locker rooms, and space for food trucks and events.

This is a great choice for young, inexperienced swimmers with its zero-depth entry pool, cabanas, and a concession area.

Oso Pool

Located next to Oso Recreation Center, Oso Pool has a shallow end and deep end, with historic diving blocks.

This pool features a zero-depth entry pool, climbing wall, and splash water features.

This pool features a triple slide, has a shallow and deep end, with multiple lanes.
