    The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department announces the temporary closure of Bill Witt Park, located at 6809 Yorktown Boulevard, to facilitate planned road improvements at the park's entrance, including roadway milling and asphalt overlay.

  • City Accepts Funding for Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements

    During today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved the acceptance of $15,092,700 from the Texas General Land Office’s Community Development Block Grants for Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program. The funding will support improvements at the Greenwood and Oso Wastewater Treatment Plants. The grant does not require a City match.

    The O.N. Stevens Water Treatment Plant, located at 13101 Leopard Street, will host a hazmat drill on Tuesday, April 29. First responders will participate in the simulated incident, which will take place from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
