Corpus Christi International Airport Invites Public Input on 20-Year "Path to 2050" Master Plan

Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) invites community members, stakeholders, and regional partners to an informational workshop to help shape the airport’s future. The public workshop will take place on Wednesday, September 23, from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. in the CCIA main terminal lobby.

The initiative, CCIA: Path to 2050, is a comprehensive, forward-looking evaluation of the airport’s infrastructure, facilities, daily operations, and projected regional demand. The master plan will serve as a strategic roadmap to ensure CCIA continues to support economic growth and seamless travel for the next two decades.

Representatives from the airport planning firm Coffman Associates, alongside CCIA leadership, will share the project's current status, outline long-term development goals, and host a question-and-answer session.

“As our region grows, so must our gateway to the world,” said Richard McCurley, CCIA Director of Aviation. “Public input is a critical piece of this master plan, ensuring that CCIA evolves in a way that truly serves the needs of residents and travelers.”

The workshop is free and open to the public. Signs will be posted throughout the terminal to guide attendees to the workshop.
