Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) will conduct mandatory live fire training exercises from March 2 through March 6 to ensure the highest level of emergency readiness. While training activities are scheduled throughout the week, a full-scale simulation will take place on Thursday, March 5th, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

Corpus Christi International Airport (CCIA) is informing Coastal Bend residents of a new Transportation Security Administration (TSA) policy taking effect February 1, 2026. Travelers who do not present a REAL ID-compliant license or another acceptable form of identification will be required to pay a $45 fee to use TSA ConfirmID, a modernized identity verification system, to clear security.
