El incendio de pasto en la autopista 361 ha sido contenido con éxito por el Departamento de Bomberos de la Ciudad de Corpus Christi. 

The grass fire on highway 361 has been successfully contained by the City of Corpus Christi Fire Department. 

The City of Corpus Christi is actively working a slow-moving grass fire that has affected the beach area adjacent to Highway 361, between Newport Pass and Zahn Road.

The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) announces the loss of one of its members. Firefighter Mark Solis lost his battle with cancer on May 23.

 At Tuesday’s regularly scheduled council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved a resolution for the Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) to apply for a grant provided by the Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) and Corpus Christi Professional Firefighter Association’s annual Fill the Boot campaign will be collecting donations on March 8, 15, and 22. 

 As the Arctic front moves in, the Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) is urging residents to take necessary precautions to protect their homes and families from fire hazards. CCFD has released a list of tips to help residents stay safe while heating their homes.

The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD) and the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) would like to remind the community that discharging fireworks within the city limits, including the beach area, is prohibited.
