City of Corpus Christi Announces Public Meetings and Funding Opportunities for Federally Funded Programs
The City of Corpus Christi is seeking public input on the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds for the City’s Fiscal Year 2027 Annual Action Plan. Funds are provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for community development, affordable housing, and homelessness. In total, about $4 million is allocated to the City each year.

Grant Money Available for Minor Home Repair Program
The City of Corpus Christi will accept applications for the Minor Home Repair Program (MHRP) from October 7 through October 21. Grants of up to $25,000 are available for critical minor home repairs, including roofing, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC systems, minor structural fixes, and accessibility modifications, for 35 very low-income seniors, persons with disabilities, Veterans, or Veterans' surviving spouses.
