Many City of Corpus Christi offices will be closed on Monday, January 20, 2025, in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. national holiday.

Road Closure for North Lexington Boulevard Project
Beginning Monday, January 13, North Lexington Boulevard will be closed to through traffic between Lantana Street and Hopkins Street. The closure will remain in effect for approximately four weeks.

Temporary Intersection Closure for Brownlee Boulevard Project
The intersection of Brownlee Boulevard and Ayers Street will be closed from Saturday, January 11, to Wednesday, January 15, as part of the ongoing Brownlee Boulevard reconstruction project.

Lane Closures on Nueces Bay Boulevard for Water Line Work
Beginning January 2, the northbound lanes of Nueces Bay Boulevard will be closed from Leopard Street to West Broadway Street for water line replacement work.

City of Corpus Christi Winter Closure Schedule
All City of Corpus Christi non-essential offices will be closed during the week between Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Certain offices will be closed beginning Wednesday, December 25, 2024, and will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Temporary Elizabeth Street Overnight Closure
Elizabeth Street will be closed at Santa Fe Street from 7:00 p.m. Friday, December 20, to 7:00 a.m. Saturday, December 21, as part of the ongoing Elizabeth Street reconstruction project.

On Thursday, December 12, City crews will conduct maintenance work at the Park Road 22 and SH 361 intersection.

Temporary Closure of Northbound Staples Street at S.P.I.D.
Beginning Thursday, December 7 at 11:30 p.m., scheduled utility upgrades will be underway at the intersection of South Staples Street and S.P.I.D. (HWY 358) with a 2-lane closure on the northbound lanes of Staples Street.
