Additional Free Pet Adoption Weekends at Animal Care Services

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Corpus Christi Animal Care Service (CCACS) announces additional fee-waived pet adoption weekends. CCACS continues to offer special weekends dedicated to finding loving homes for our beloved animals.

The City of Corpus Christi received a $30,000 grant from the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to fund expenses related to dogs and cats that are up for adoption. This funding will cover various costs, including adoption fees, microchips, vaccinations, testing, and spay/neuter surgeries.

All pets adopted from CCACS will be microchipped, spayed or neutered, and treated with all necessary vaccinations to start your new furry friend off on the right foot.

September dates include:

·         First weekend:

Friday-Saturday, September 5 & 6

12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

·         Second weekend:

Friday-Saturday, September 26 & 27

12:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 

Adoptable pets can be seen in person at CCACS, located at 2626 Holly Road, Monday through Saturday from 12:00 to 5:30 p.m.
