AEP Infrastructure Improvements Coming to South Staples Street, Saratoga Boulevard, and Woolridge Road

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – AEP will begin infrastructure improvements in two locations along South Staples Street, starting at 8:00 a.m. on Monday, November 10, and continuing through November 23.

The first project will take place near the intersection of Saratoga Boulevard and South Staples Street. During this timeframe, a portion of the southbound outer lane on South Staples Street, between Huntwick Avenue and Kenith Circle, will be closed.

Simultaneously, AEP will make additional infrastructure improvements near the intersection of Wooldridge Road and South Staples Street. The northbound outer lane on South Staples Street, between Sarazen Drive and Bay Area Title Plaza, will be closed during construction.

During these construction periods, crews will be actively working in both areas, and traffic control measures will be implemented to ensure the safety of workers and motorists. Residents and drivers are encouraged to exercise caution, follow posted signage, and be mindful of potential delays during construction hours.

All access to businesses and neighborhoods in the area will be maintained, and crews will remain diligent in minimizing disruptions to the community.
