City Approves Incentive Agreement for Cinergy Family Entertainment Center

At today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the Council approved an incentive agreement with Cinergy Family Entertainment Center for a 90,000-square foot Entertainment Destination. The entertainment center will be at the corner of Rodd Field Road and South Padre Island Drive in Council District 4.

Cinergy Entertainment Group develops some of the country's most renowned entertainment centers and has been recognized as the “Top Family Entertainment Center of the World.” Founded in Dallas, Texas, Cinergy Entertainment Group is poised to create hundreds of local jobs and attract thousands of regional visitors annually. The expected completion date is September 2028.

“The City’s approval of this incentive agreement reflects our continued commitment to economic growth and quality of life,” said Mayor Paulette Guajardo. “Cinergy Family Entertainment Center will create new jobs, attract regional visitors, and offer a premier space for family-friendly recreation. We’re proud to welcome this exciting addition to Corpus Christi.”

● Corpus Christi Live Sports Bar – a signature full-service restaurant with multi-level seating and a floor-to-ceiling LED wall broadcasting major sporting events in high definition.

● 5 Fully-Immersive Escape Rooms – story-driven, intricate, multi-chamber adventures designed to test the wits and teamwork of even the most seasoned puzzle solvers. All within immersive, movie-quality sets that drop you into the heart of the action.

● 100+ Cutting-Edge Arcade Games paired with a prize redemption center and social play zones.

● Virtual Reality Universe featuring free-roam VR, XD simulators, interactive digital darts, and arena blaster shootouts.

● 6 Luxury Movie Auditoriums, designed as premium, dine-in cinematic spaces
