CORPUS CHRISTI, TX—The City of Corpus Christi is hosting an unveiling ceremony to mark the construction of a new police substation on the City’s southside. The substation will allow officers to connect with residents while remaining close to the community they serve. Voters approved the facility as part of Bond 2022 and Bond 2024.

The facility will be a hub for officer readiness and meaningful community engagement. The 7,300-square-foot building will have interview and briefing rooms, armory and evidence storage, secure, access-controlled security and parking for 90 vehicles. Construction is underway and scheduled for completion in July 2026.
