City of Corpus Christi Announces Public Meetings and Funding Opportunities for Federally Funded Programs
Important Dates for the FY2027 Annual Action Plan
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The City of Corpus Christi is seeking public input on the use of Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) funds for the City’s Fiscal Year 2027 Annual Action Plan. Funds are provided by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) for community development, affordable housing, and homelessness. In total, about $4 million is allocated to the City each year.

Public Meetings
March 4– Public Meeting Open House #1, La Retama Central Library, 805 Comanche Street, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
March 5 – Public Meeting Open House #2, La Retama Central Library, 805 Comanche Street, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
The City of Corpus Christi will release Notices of Funding Availability (NOFA) for affordable housing, community development needs, and to address homelessness. Organizations providing services to low-and moderate-income individuals are encouraged to apply.
NOFAs will be released online on April 1, at https://www.corpuschristitx.gov/department-directory/planning-economic-development/.
Applications are due on May 1. There will be a technical assistance workshop on April 9.
