City of Corpus Christi to Host Public Information Session on Nueces Groundwater Wells
Community Members Invited to Learn About Water Supply Projects and Share Feedback
Corpus Christi, TX – Corpus Christi Water (CCW) invites residents and community members to attend a public information session on the Nueces Groundwater Wells project. This open discussion will provide an opportunity for attendees to learn about groundwater resources, meet with CCW staff, and share their input on this critical water supply initiative.

The information session will cover a range of topics essential to understanding the City’s Nueces Groundwater Program, management efforts, and other water supply projects, specifically including:
· The Gulf Coast Aquifer
· Nueces Groundwater Well design
· What is a Groundwater Conservation District (GCD)
· Residential well water quality data and water levels
· Drought information
· CCW water supply projects
