Cole Park Skate Park Temporarily Closed for Repairs
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX— The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department advises residents of the temporary closure of the Cole Skate Park, located at 2030 Ocean Drive, for concrete repairs to begin on Monday, September 2. The improvements are scheduled for completion on September 26, weather permitting.
Cole Park will remain open for patrons to use the other park amenities such as the pier, plaza, Play for All playground, walking trail and amphitheater. Patrons are asked to be aware of cautionary signage and temporary barriers at the work site to maintain public safety.
The maintenance includes repairing damaged concrete and smoothing and troweling designated areas. In the interim, visitors are encouraged to visit either the Wranosky Park Skate Park located at 422 Graham Road or the West Guth Skate Park located at 9700 Up River Road.
