Cole Park Skate Park Temporary Closure for Repairs to be Extended
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department advises residents of the extended temporary closure of the Cole Skate Park, located at 2030 Ocean Drive, for concrete repairs to continue this weekend through Tuesday, September 30, weather permitting. The extended closure is due to weather delays.
Cole Park will remain open for patrons to use the other park amenities, such as the pier, plaza, Play-for-All playground, walking trail, and amphitheater. To maintain public safety, patrons are asked to be aware of cautionary signage and temporary barriers at the work site.
The maintenance includes repairing damaged concrete and smoothing and troweling designated areas. In the interim, visitors are encouraged to visit either the Wranosky Skate Park located at 422 Graham Road or the West Guth Skate Park located at 9700 Up River Road.
