Complete Closure of Everhart Road Scheduled for September 25-26
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX— The City of Corpus Christi announces the upcoming complete closure of Everhart Road from South Padre Island Drive to Lamont Street. This closure is scheduled from Thursday night, September 25, at 11:00 p.m. to Friday morning, September 26, at 6:00 a.m.
This temporary closure facilitates the extension of new water services to businesses in the area, ensuring improved infrastructure and service reliability. Additionally, during this period, contractors will pour concrete at McArdle Road, contributing to ongoing road improvement efforts.
A detailed map is attached that visually represents the entire road closure.
Motorists are advised to seek alternative routes during the closure. Detour signs and traffic control devices will be appropriately placed to guide drivers safely around the work zone. Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan their travel accordingly to avoid delays.
The City of Corpus Christi appreciates the public’s patience and cooperation as this work continues to enhance the city’s infrastructure. These improvements are part of our commitment to maintaining and upgrading essential services for the community.
