Completion of Asphalt Paving on Nueces Bay Blvd

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The completion of asphalt paving on Nueces Bay Blvd, extending from Up River Road to Interstate Highway 37 (IH37), is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, through Friday, August 8. Once paving is complete, installation of a 16-inch water line tie-in on the opposite side can begin.

The current traffic control plan will remain in place during the paving process to ensure vehicle safety and smooth flow. Law enforcement officers will be at all intersections to assist with traffic operations and minimize disruptions. Motorists are advised to exercise caution, adhere to posted signage, and follow the directions of on-site personnel.

The asphalt paving on Nueces Bay Blvd is part of a broader initiative to upgrade and modernize the city's infrastructure. Completing the water line installation is a critical milestone to improve water distribution efficiency and reliability.
