Corpus Christi Neighborhood Fitness Event for Saturday Canceled Due to Weather

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The Corpus Christi-Nueces County Public Health District's Neighborhood Fitness event scheduled for Saturday, August 16, at Hector P. Garcia Park, 4305 Greenwood Drive (District 3), has been canceled due to forecasted inclement weather.

The next Neighborhood Fitness event is scheduled for Saturday, September 20, from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. at Parker Park, 654 Graham Road, (District 4), which will include:

o   7:30 a.m. – One Mile Run/Walk

o   8:00 a.m. – Zumba

o   9:00 a.m. – Yoga (Participants please bring your own mat.)

In partnership with the Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department and VF Productions, this health initiative encourages wellness and strengthens community connections through running/walking, Zumba, and yoga activities. Special guests include SOMOS YOGA, Latin Fuego Cardio Madness, and the Nueces County Medical Society.
