Emergency Closure of Cul-de-Sac at Caplin Drive and Paint Rock Road

Corpus Christi, TX – The City of Corpus Christi announces the emergency closure of the cul-de-sac at Caplin Drive and Paint Rock Road starting April 10th. This closure is necessary to address a broken water line in the area.

While repairs are underway, this section of Caplin Drive will remain closed to through traffic to ensure the safety of residents and workers. The closure will remain in place until construction is complete, which is aimed at draining excess water and repairing the damaged water line.

Residents will still be able to access their driveways and properties during construction. Water supply to homes in the area will not be affected during the repair process.

Safety remains a top priority. Motorists are urged to follow posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone safely. Detours will be clearly marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.
