Fireworks Prohibited Within Corpus Christi City Limits

CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS – The Corpus Christi Fire Department (CCFD), alongside the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD), is reminding residents that fireworks are not allowed within Corpus Christi city limits, including all beach areas.

The discharge of fireworks within city limits is strictly prohibited. Individuals found in violation may face fines of up to $2,000 for each opened package of fireworks.

Residents who witness illegal fireworks activity are encouraged to report it by calling 361-886-COPS (2677). Please note that 911 should only be used for emergencies, not to report complaints about fireworks.

CCFD and CCPD appreciate the public’s cooperation in keeping neighborhoods, beaches, and first responders safe.
