Motorists traveling northbound on SH 286 toward the Bayfront and Downtown areas will be detoured to take the Agnes/Laredo Street exit.

Motorists leaving the Bayfront area toward northbound IH 37, northbound US 181, and southbound SH 286 will follow a detour to turn right on N Chapparal Street, left on E Port Avenue, right on the Martin Luther King Drive frontage road for northbound IH 37 or take the U-turn at Nueces Bay Blvd to merge onto IH 37 for the US 181 and SH 286 connector ramps.
