Lanes on Lipes Boulevard and Brockhampton Street Closed for Paving Work

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Some traffic lanes on Lipes Boulevard and Brockhampton Street are closed for street paving. The work began on Saturday, November 22.

Westbound travel lanes will be closed on Lipes Boulevard between Cimarron Boulevard and Grape Arbor Drive. One-way traffic will be allowed on the eastbound lanes. When that work is complete, paving will switch to the eastbound lanes, and one-way traffic will be permitted on the westbound lanes.

On Brockhampton, the northbound lane will be closed from Lipes Boulevard to Stonehenge Street, allowing one-way traffic on the southbound lanes. When that work is complete, paving will switch to the southbound lanes, and one-way traffic will be permitted in the northbound lanes.

Residents have been notified in advance of this work. Driveways will remain accessible through the neighborhood.

The work will continue through Wednesday, November 26. This is part of the City’s Street Preventive Maintenance Program.

A detailed map is attached to visually represent the road work and traffic flow adjustments.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be clearly marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.

The City of Corpus Christi is committed to projects that maintain or improve streets and infrastructure for every city resident, business, and visitor.
