The City of Corpus Christi and the Mayor’s Committee on Veteran Affairs will host a Pearl Harbor Commemoration Ceremony on Saturday, December 6, at 10:00 a.m. at the Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park, 222 S. Shoreline Boulevard.
The ceremony includes a POW/MIA Missing Man Table, a parade of colors, representatives of veterans’ organizations and remarks from dignitaries. The date, December 7, 1941, marks the anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
The ceremony serves as a moment of reflection and gratitude to honor the commitment and sacrifices made by the members of the Greatest Generation, as well as the lasting impact of their contributions to history.
