Mt. Vernon Drive Closed from Everhart Road to Wynona Drive
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — Starting Monday, November 17, Mt. Vernon Drive will be closed from Everhart Road to Wynona Drive. This closure will remain in effect until November 26.
The intersection must be closed to complete a critical concrete pour as part of the ongoing infrastructure improvement project in the area. This vital work will enhance the durability and safety of the roads for all motorists and pedestrians.
During this period, all traffic will be diverted, and detour signs will be in place to guide drivers to alternative routes.
Neighborhoods will still be able to access their property through Wynona Drive. The City urges all residents and commuters to plan their travel accordingly and allow extra time for any potential traffic delays.
A detailed map is included to show the complete closure.
The City of Corpus Christi is committed to projects that maintain or improve streets and infrastructure for every city resident, business, and visitor.
