Storm Water Improvements on Mt. Vernon Street at Everhart Road

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Storm water improvements are scheduled to begin on Mt. Vernon Street at the intersection of Everhart Road.

The extended closure will begin on August 18 and last for two days, concluding on August 20. During construction, Mt. Vernon Street will be closed from Everhart Road to Wynona Drive. The closure will enable the installation of a new 30-inch stormwater line beneath the intersection. This crucial infrastructure upgrade aims to improve water service in the surrounding area.

Detours will be marked and are designed to minimize disruption while ensuring the safety of all road users. Motorists are encouraged to plan their routes accordingly and allow extra travel time.
