Grande Communications Improvements Coming to Two Staples Street Locations
Work Scheduled to Begin on November 3
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – Contractors for Grande Communications will begin infrastructure improvements at two locations along Staples Street beginning on Monday, November 3.
Starting at 8:00 a.m., the contractor will begin work at 1201 Leopard Street, installing underground fiber and conduit. The work will commence at the City Hall North Staples Street entrance and continue north on North Staples Street, extending past Leopard Street, and will end before reaching Antelope Street.
A second project will begin at 9:00 a.m. at 4521 South Staples Street and continue through the intersection of South Staples Street and McArdle Road.
The project includes aerial fiber lashing and some underground cabinet work. During construction, portions of the southbound outer lane on South Staples Street between Mustang Trail and McArdle Road will be closed for the duration of the project.
During the projects, construction crews will be active in both areas. They will implement traffic control measures to ensure the safety of both workers and motorists. Drivers are encouraged to use alternate routes, remain alert to work zone signage, and exercise caution when traveling in the vicinity of the project site.
All access to businesses and neighborhoods in the area will be maintained, and crews will remain diligent in minimizing disruptions.
Safety remains a top priority throughout the entire project.
