Temporary Closure of Corpus Christi Natatorium
CCISD to Conduct Planned Upgrades and Maintenance
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Parks and Recreation Department, in collaboration with the Corpus Christi Independent School District (CCISD), announces the temporary closure of the Corpus Christi Natatorium, located at 3202 Cabaniss Parkway, for the month of August, The closure will allow the district to conduct planned upgrades and maintenance of the facility in anticipation of the upcoming school year.
The project includes full resurfacing of the pool deck, replacement of all deck drains within the facility, and routine maintenance to keep the year-round pool operating at the safest and highest level possible. The Natatorium is expected to reopen on September 1, 2025.
The public is invited to visit the following pools during the temporary CC Natatorium closure:
Collier Pool, 3801 Harris Drive (year-round pool)
Monday – Friday: Lap Swim from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 am, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Open Swim from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: Open Swim from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Bill Witt Aquatic Center, 6809 Yorktown Boulevard (Extended summer schedule)
LAP POOL ONLY:
Monday – Friday: Lap and Open Swim 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday – Sunday: Lap and Open Swim 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
