Phase 1 of Belmeade Drive Resurfacing Underway

Corpus Christi Public Works crews will temporarily close Belmeade Drive from Gollihar Road to Orms Drive from August 29 until September 12.

The work, part of the Rapid Pavement Program, marks the first phase of a plan to resurface Belmeade Drive from Gollihar Road to Airline Road.

Belmeade Drive from Gollihar Road to Orms Drive will be closed to through-traffic during the project's first phase, but residents will have access to their driveways. Construction for the entire project is scheduled to continue through mid-October.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.
