Pier Utility Work to Close Roadway on Lawrence Street T-Head

Ongoing work on the Lawrence Street T-head piers will require closures of sections of the T-head beginning Monday, December 8.

The section near Joe’s Crab Shack is estimated to be closed for about two months while crews install utility lines as part of the pier replacement project. Access to the T-Head remains open. Drivers will be able to turn around in the parking lot near the restaurant to exit the T-Head, as a section of the loop road will be closed. Additionally, a section on the other end of the T-Head remains closed.

A detailed map is below to visually represent the road closures.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be clearly marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.
