Scheduled Traffic Change on Aaron Drive

Work on the Aaron Drive reconstruction project continues with a traffic change on Thursday, October 2. Aaron Drive from Saratoga Boulevard to Summer Wind Drive will be limited to one-way southbound traffic.

The Bond 2022 project includes improvements to pavement, curbs, and gutters, as well as streetlights, and the construction of new or improved sidewalks, ADA-compliant curb ramps, signage, and pavement markings. In addition to surface improvements, the project includes stormwater, water, wastewater, and gas infrastructure improvements.

The $3.84 million project is scheduled for completion in March 2026.

Residents have been notified of construction, and driveways are expected to remain accessible.

A detailed map is provided below to represent the roadwork and traffic flow adjustments visually.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be clearly marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.

The City of Corpus Christi is committed to projects that maintain or improve streets and infrastructure for every city resident, business, and visitor.
