Temporary Closure on Everhart Road
Southbound Lanes Closed from Staples Street to Whataburger Way
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX — The southbound lanes of Everhart Road from Staples Street to Whataburger Way will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, January 27, from 12:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. The closure is necessary to facilitate repairs to an area on the concrete surface, ensuring the road remains safe and in good condition for all users.
During the closure, motorists traveling southbound on Everhart Road will be required to take an alternate route. Drivers should turn left onto Staples Street, then proceed to Autotown Drive, turn right, then right onto Burney Drive, and left onto Everhart Road to continue their journey. Detours will be clearly marked to help drivers navigate the temporary changes.

Access to all businesses and neighborhoods along Everhart Road will remain open throughout the repair period. We encourage motorists to allow extra travel time and exercise caution when approaching the work zone for their safety and ours.
