Temporary Road Closure at West Guth Park
For preventative maintenance work
CORPUS CHRISTI, TX – The Corpus Christi Parks & Recreation Department announces a temporary road closure in the west end of West Guth Park, 9700 Up River Road, on Monday, September 14, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., weather permitting.
The work is for routine stormwater maintenance within the park and will involve clearing vegetation from within the park ditch to improve drainage and maintain its structural integrity.
Visitors can still access the Northwest Senior Center, skate park, playground, dog park, pavilion and walking trail throughout the main park entrance on Up River Road.
Safety continues to be our top priority. The public is encouraged to remain alert in the work zone and to observe all posted signage.
