Traffic Switch on Nueces Bay Boulevard

CORPUS CHRISTI, TX— Starting on Monday, October 27, traffic on the east side of Nueces Bay Boulevard will be switched to the west side between IH-37 and West Broadway Street. This traffic switch is necessary to facilitate the completion of a critical water line replacement project in this area.

The traffic switch will enable construction crews to safely and efficiently carry out the water line replacement. This traffic control change is expected to remain in place for approximately six weeks.

Motorists are urged to follow all posted detour signs and exercise caution while driving through the construction zone. Traffic control measures, including barriers and signage, will be implemented to guide drivers safely through the area.

All access to businesses and neighborhoods in the area will be maintained, and crews will remain diligent in minimizing disruptions.

A detailed map is included to show the complete construction zone.

The City of Corpus Christi is committed to projects that maintain or improve streets and infrastructure for every city resident, business, and visitor.
