Waterline Work on Townsend Street

Waterline improvements on Townsend Street between Gollihar Road and Horne Road are scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 23.

Townsend Street will be closed to through-traffic, but residents will have access to their driveways. Construction is scheduled to continue through September. The work will improve the water infrastructure in the area, providing more reliability to the city’s water system.

Safety remains a top priority, and motorists traveling through this area must follow the posted detour signs to navigate the construction zone. Detours will be marked to ensure minimal disruption and maintain traffic flow.
