Water line improvements are scheduled to continue on Mt. Vernon Street at the intersection of Everhart Road. 

Pavement repairs on Ocean Drive between Country Club Drive and Ennis Joslin Road will begin Tuesday, August 12.

The completion of asphalt paving on Nueces Bay Blvd, extending from Up River Road to Interstate Highway 37 (IH37), is scheduled for Thursday, August 7, through Friday, August 8.

On Tuesday, August 5, Everhart Road will be closed between McArdle Road and Lamont Street from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

West Broadway Street from Port Avenue to Lexington Avenue will be closed for construction beginning Monday, August 4, through Wednesday, August 6.

Waterline improvements on Mt. Vernon Street at the intersection of Everhart Road will temporarily close the road from July 31 through August 2. During construction, Mt. Vernon Street will be closed from Everhart Road to Wynona Drive.

At today's regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved an interlocal agreement allocating up to $2.5 million for storm drainage improvements, using funds from the Street Bond 2024 initiative.

Ongoing work on the piers will require closing a small section of the Lawrence Street T-Head beginning Thursday, July 24.

Waterline improvements on Ocean Drive between Country Club Drive and Ennis Joslin Road are scheduled to begin Monday, August 4. Eastbound traffic will detour to the westbound lanes, allowing for two-way traffic between Country Club Drive and Ennis Joslin Road.

Waterline improvements on Townsend Street between Gollihar Road and Horne Road are scheduled to begin Wednesday, July 23.
