City Council Awards Construction Contract for Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park MonumentAt today’s regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council awarded Marshall Company Ltd. a $715,000 construction contract for the transportation and installation of a United States Army Bell Huey Helicopter at Sherrill Veterans Memorial Park, located at 222 South Shoreline Boulevard. -
New Marina Piers Coming to Lawrence Street T-HeadThe first construction phase is underway to replace marina piers on the Lawrence Street T-Heads. Callan Marine Ltd., of Galveston, is the construction contractor for the $19.4 million project, which is funded through the Marina Capital and Seawall Capital Improvement Funds.

Police Training Academy Ribbon Cutting
The City of Corpus Christi will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the opening of the Corpus Christi Police Training Academy. The new 34,000-square foot facility replaces the current training academy, which was built in 1981.
