Update: Everhart Road Water Line Improvements Planned at South Padre Island Drive Intersection
City construction crews are preparing for water line improvements at the South Padre Island Drive and Everhart Road intersection, part of voter-approved roadwork included in Bond 2018 and 2020.
Construction for Phase 1 of this project is now tentatively scheduled to begin in late August.

On Tuesday, August 5, Everhart Road will be closed between McArdle Road and Lamont Street from 2:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m.

Partial Closure of West Broadway Street for Water Line Installation
West Broadway Street from Port Avenue to Lexington Avenue will be closed for construction beginning Monday, August 4, through Wednesday, August 6.

Temporary Closure of Mt. Vernon Street at Everhart Road
Waterline improvements on Mt. Vernon Street at the intersection of Everhart Road will temporarily close the road from July 31 through August 2. During construction, Mt. Vernon Street will be closed from Everhart Road to Wynona Drive.

City Partners with Port of Corpus Christi Authority for Storm Drainage Improvements
At today's regularly scheduled City Council meeting, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved an interlocal agreement allocating up to $2.5 million for storm drainage improvements, using funds from the Street Bond 2024 initiative.
