On Saturday, September 21, cyclists from across the state will ride in this year’s Conquer the Coast Bike event. 

Demolition is scheduled to begin on the Steamboat (Ropes) House located at 1517 Mesquite Street on September 18, following a structural evaluation that identified the building as structurally unsafe and in a state of excessive disrepair.

At today’s regularly scheduled meeting of the Corpus Christi City Council, Mayor Paulette Guajardo and the City Council approved the FY 2025 budget for the Corpus Christi Crime Control and Prevention District in the amount of $11,871,085.

Today, the Corpus Christi Police Department (CCPD) held a graduation ceremony for the 27 new officers of the 83rd Academy Class. The Academy prepares candidates to become the officers our community expects and deserves.
